Makassar organises various active holidays, such as canoeing, rafting, rock climbing, diving, paragliding and bird-watching. Many tours includes visits to Madagascar's National Parks, such as Marojejy National Park, the Ankarana National Park, the Ankarafantsika National Park. A highly recommended tour is a visit to the agricultural region of Ambanja in the north, including biking and trekking along the Sambirano River. This tour is combined with a homestay in an authentic cacao farming village to better experience the daily life from the perspective of a local cacao farmer, while discovering the natural beauty of the Sambirano Valley.

Makassar Tours Antananarivo is less than 5 minutes by taxi from the Soarano Train Station (main train station) and Independence Avenue. The office can be found on the ground floor via the corner entrance of the Santa Antanimena building (next to La Chocolatière boutique).

Whether you would like a complete tour package including international flights or just have your domestic flights tickets organised in the last moment, we look forward to hearing from you!
