Antalaha is a town in northern Madagascar in the disctrict by the same name and , part of the Sava Region in the Antsiranana Province. The population of the town and district was estimated in 2001 was estimated at 75,000.
The town Antalaha has an airport which serviced by [[Air Madagascar]]<!-- how often do planes land?-->. From the south it is possible to reach Antalaha The town can also be reached by road from [[Sambava]] which takes about 1½ hours. Other available and more adventurous routes are trekking over across the Masoala peninsula from [[Maroantsetra]] or via [[Cap East]]. From the north the town can be reach by road from [[Sambava]] which takes about 1&#189; hours.
