In the meantime, [[Antananarivo]] based tour operator [[Madasmiles]] has filled the void by providing an option over the usually overcrowded and bone-shaking [[Taxi-brousse|Taxi-brousses]], servicing regular long-distance routes between cities of the south and east of Madagascar.
Alternatively, travel by [[Transpost]], the Madagascar postal service buses which doubles as a cross-country bus service.
