This region is also very famous for bird watching including the [[Van Dam's vanga]], [[Rufous vanga]], White-headed vanga, Chabert's vanga, Red-tailed vanga, Red-capped coua, Coquerel's coua, Madagascar crested ibis, Madagascar buttonquail, Frances's sparrowhawk and [[Madagascar sparrowhawk]]. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Breakfast and full morning to explore another section of the national park. We go for a boatride on [[Lake Ravelobe]] to observe numerous endemic aquatic birds, such as Humblot’s heron, Green-backed heron, Madagascar jacana, ibises, ducks and the famous [[Madagascar fish eagle]]. 
Lunch at the hotel and in the afternoon drive to Majunga. We visit majestic [[Baobab tree|baobab trees]] (''Adansonia digitata''), one of the seven species which grow on Madagascar, of which six species are endemic to Madagascar.

After breakfast we take the ferry across Betsiboka River to get to the Antrema forest near the village of Katsepy south of Majunga. There we search for the Crowned sifaka, one of the rarest lemurs. During the trip on the river it is possible to observe aquatic bird such as Bernier’s teal and Madagascar sacred ibis.
