Vontovorona is a suburb of Madagascar's capital Antananarivo.
In 1989, [http://www.sos-kinderdoerfer.de/unsere-arbeit/wo-wir-helfen/afrika/madagaskar/vontovorona SOS Kinderdorf] opened one of their villages in Vontovorona. Up to 150 kids from the region which cannot live longer together with their parents found a new home there.
South of Vontovorona there is a [[Green Club]], a spa and health centre part of the [[Homeopharma Group Homeopharma]].
