Nosy Mitsio, officially La Grande Mitsio, is an island part of the [[Mitsio Archipelago]] about 70 kilometres north of [[Nosy Be]]. The island is hot and dry with only a few inhabitants and two small farming villages named Antakarana and Akalava.
