The restaurant is located in a beautiful house built in 1931. The manager Patrick is an expat from France who lives in Madagascar since 1999.
There is much to discover in the surrounding area of Ivato, such as the [[Croc Farm]], the Rova of [[Ambohimanga]], royal tombs and kilometres of trails winding through the countryside passing small villages. Guests have the possibility to rent mountain bikes at the hotel. Closer to the hotel is a swimming pool and tennis court.
