Antohomaro
From MadaCamp
Antohomaro is a small village by Farihy Andromasay, often referred to as Lac d’Antohomaro, about 7km south of Sambava.
Andromasay is part of three interconnected lakes, the other two being Andamoty and Andohabe.
Although the lake is known to be home to crocodiles, locals bathe and wash their clothes by the lakeshore near the village. The crocodiles reportedly prefer the more southern area of the lake and are not commonly sighted.
On a clear day, the peak of Marojejy is visible in the far distance across the lake.
