Village des Tortues is located in Mangily-Ifaty, about 25 kilometres north of Tulear. The turtoise village is a beautiful 7-hectare park, where turtoises are cared for, raised and protected.

Seized tortoises at customs are brought here for conservation programs and then handed over to nature.
