Transfert Anakao offers boat transfer between Tulear and the various hotels along the beach of Anakao and the surrounding area. Transfert Anakao is a good alternative to the traditional wooden pirouges which are offered by fishermen.
Tickets can be obtained at the Transfert Anakao office, located in the Mahavatse harbour area in Tulear. The transfer to Anakao village takes about one hour. The used fibre glass speed boat has been created especially for this transfer and was built in 2012. The boat has two engines (175Cv Suzuki)and offers space for up to 18 passengers. Life wests and waterproof luggage storage compartments are provided onboard.
