An inventory of freshwater fish took place at the following three locations:
''[[Andranobe'']], ''[[Ambohitsitondroinan'Ambanizana'' ]] and the ''[[Iagnobe'' ]] basin. The results show the importance and uniqueness of the region.
* 23 species divided into 19 genera and 12 families of fish were identified in these rivers.
