Madagascar National Parks, formally known as [[ANGAP becomes Madagascar National Parks|ANGAP]], is devoted to the preservation of ecosystems in protected areas, the research on biodiversity, environmental education and the initiation of ecotourism. Through an equitable division of the park entrance fees, the association also supports the development of neighbouring villages and regions of the protected areas, which are the first recipients.
Entrance tickets are available at the reception counter of each national park as well as inside the [[Office Regional du Tourisme Analamanga|ORTANA ]] office located in Antaninarenina in [[Antananarivo]]. [[Office Regional du Tourisme Analamanga|ORTANA]] stands for ''Office Regional du Tourisme Analamanga'' (Regional Office of Tourism Analamanga). The office is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and Saturday from 9am till noon.
As of 1st November 2015, the entrance fees for a day visit vary depending on the chosen park/reserve between 45,000 Ariary and 65,000 Ariary for a foreign adult. Children pay 20,000 Ariary a day. Guides are obligatory in all parks/reserves and cost extra.
