La Medina

La Medina Day Spa offers a wide range of massages and body treatments in an oriental atmosphere. At the time of writing, La Medina is surely the largest and most varied spa treatment facility in Antananarivo. The spa is located in the Isoraka district in the centre of Madagascar's capital, close to the Presidential Palace.

La Medina offers more than 40 massage techniques performed by professionally trained masseuses. Amongst others, the following massages are available: Swedish massage, Finnish hot oil massage, Royal Sultan massage (massage with 3 masseuses), hot stone massage, relaxing milk massage, chocolate massage, Ayurveda massage, foot reflexology etc.

A beauty centre offers facial care, manicure, pedicure, body scrubs and relaxing body wraps. There is also a hairdressing salon included in the beauty centre.

There are a sauna, hamman and various bath therapy rooms in the basement of the building. This location can be rented for birthday parties, bachelor/ette parties as well as other events.

La Medina offers Day Spa Packages up to several hours, which combine various treatments such as massages, body scrubs, facial care, manicure with sauna or hammam. Visitors can end their treatment in the small La Medina restaurant, enjoying excellent Indian and oriental cuisine. Combined with the restaurant is a shisha lounge and bar. In 2017 La Medina expanded into a boutique hotel situated above the restaurant.

La Medina is open from Tuesday to Sunday between 10am and 10pm.
