Hotel Carlton is a centrally located large five star hotel in Antananarivo overlooking Lake Anosy and much of the city, ideal for business travellers and holiday visitors alike. While its exterior may not be the most charming, the interiors are luxurious and the pool area is a large green oasis in the middle of the bustling capital.

The hotel offers 165 rooms and six suites. All rooms have a bathroom, international TV, Wifi and a safe. Additionally, the suites include a kitchenette, dressing room and a separate living room.

Restaurants include Café Charly, La Terrace, Le Bistrot, L'éclair - a pastry counter offering deserts, chocolate cakes and other sweet delights. The informal outdoors restaurant and bar Oasis de Tana has excellent pizza with an open fire owen and lunch and dinner menu.

A direct shuttle service is provided to/from the airport, which takes about 30 minutes or longer depending on traffic.

Activites include a swimming pool, tennis and fitness centre, Finnish sauna, Jacuzzi, hammam and massage service.

On the second floor is the Royal Flush Casino.

Baby sitting service and a playground is provided to younger guests.

Various function rooms are suitable for large meetings, seminars and conferences, exhibitions, weddings and other private functions.

The hotel was formerly the location of the Hilton until it was rebranded as The Carlton in 2007.
