Trees planted are Schizolaena viscolaThe tree nursery, located in Anjahakely, fulfills an endemic species and lemur food source, while Breanadia salicina and Intsia trees are planted at essential role in the source protection of rivers the lemur habitat close to protect the river systems. Albizia lebeck are planted as forage for livestockvillage.
Trees planted in the area include Schizolaena viscola, an endemic species and lemur food source, Breanadia salicina and Intsia trees are planted at river sources to protect the waterways and Albizia lebeck are planted as forage for livestock. Various palms and Dracaena trees are also planted for decorational purposes around [[Black Lemur Camp]] for decorational purposes. The camp, which supports the tree nursery, employs staff mostly from Anjahakely and nearby villages which in effect supports the local economy and inspires a culture that profits most from the forest by preservation rather than destruction.
