The Ambohijatovo Park, also called Analakely Park, is located in the centre of Antananarivo. The park was developed by the Urban Commune and is shaded by large eucalyptus, jacaranda and casuarina trees. In 1987 a memorial column was erected on the southern entrance of the park in memory of those who disappeared during the insurrection of March 1947.

Another monument at this location is dedicated to the christian martyrs who were burned alive in Faravohitra or thrown off the hill Tsimihatsaka or executed in Ambohipotsy in 1847.
