Day 5: Boat transfer to [[Antalaviana]]. This is a wonderful location, beach and has a large waterfall where it's possible to go for a swim.
Day 6: Return to hotel in Maroantsetra. Pass [[Nosy Mangabe]] Island for picnic in the morning. Or boat can go close to the shore of the island where the large white flocks of [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_egret egret (heron)] can usually be observed on large flocksin the canopies along the shore. Allow about four hours to visit the island in order to try and find the [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uroplatus_fimbriatus Uroplatus fimbriatus (giant leaf-tailed gecko)] and with some luck also spot one of the [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_egret smallest chameleons in the world].
