The Betsimisaraka village Navana is located near Maroantsetra in the Bay of Antongila (also called Helodranon' Antongila) on the north east coast of Madagascar. Granite boulders along the beach remind of the Seychelles.

Navana can be only reached by boat, bicycle or foot. The nearest town is Maroantsetra.

Navana is a very long stretched village with sandy roads.
