Tickets can be obtained at the Anakao Transfert office, located in the Mahavatse harbour area in Tulear.
The transfer to Anakao village takes about one hour. The boat used is a twin-engine fibre glass speed boat with space for up to 25 passengers.
Life wests and waterproof luggage storage compartments are provided onboard.

The boat usually leaves between 7am and 8am from Anakao to Tulear, and around 9.30am from Tulear to Anakao. The ticket price per person one way to Anakao is 50.000 Ariary, to Ocean Lodge 60.000 Ariary and to the hotel Diego 70.000 Ariary. Return costs double, children
