The laboratory was founded in 2021 by Olivier Ratsimbaholison, an entrepreneur from [[Antananarivo]] with a degree in natural sciencesNatural Sciences. Prulab became the first independent vanilla laboratory in the [[SAVA]] region offering fast and accurate analysis for exporters and other vanilla operators in the [[SAVA]] region wishing to determine the quality, price and market value price of their products.
