Antalaha

Antalaha is a town in northern Madagascar in the disctrict by the same name, part of the Sava Region in the Antsiranana Province. The population of the town and district was estimated in 2001 at 75,000.

Antalaha has an airport which serviced by Air Madagascar . The town can also be reached by road from Sambava which takes about 1½ hours. Other available and more adventurous routes are trekking across the Masoala peninsula from Maroantsetra or via Cap East, or by a cargo ship journey from Maroantsetra or Tamatave.
