The African Darter (Anhinga rufa) is a water bird which can be found at the lakes of Madagascar. The bird has a very long and thin neck and is therefore sometimes called snakebird. The 80cm long, fish-eating bird builds its nest made of sticks in trees. It lays three to six eggs.
