After a long of day of fishing the men of the village pull their boats up on the beach where the catch is distributed amongst villagers. The women usually carry the catch home and it is not untypical to see them wear the fish as if they were parading the latest hat fashion down the Paris catwalk. This picture was taken in Morondova, which is a charming coastal town on the east coast of Madagascar.
