Nosy Lonja or Sugarloaf Island is the small island in Diego Bay that symbolises [[Diego Suarez]]. It is considered by locals ''fady'' to visit, it is said that if you step ashore you will die. So there are no buildings or people living there.
The picture of the island appears on the one hundred 100-Ariari banknotes.
