The restaurant offers a good choice of Malagasy and French cuisine. Depending on the catch of the day, a daily changing menu suggests various seafood variations. After a delicious desert, or as such, guests can choose from over 20 rum arrangements. The cacao [[Rhum Arrangé|rhum arrangé]] is a must try, you will not likely find it elsewhere!
The French owner and chef Philipe realised his dream of an own restaurant in 2010 after serving the French Army for 20 years. Philipe likes to socialise with his guests as well as pracitse his English.
La Capannina is closed on Wednesday.
