The restaurant offers a good choice of Malagasy and French cuisine. Depending on the catch of the day, a daily changing menu suggests various seafood variations. After a delicious desert, or as such, meal guests can choose from over 20 rum homemade arrangements. The cacao [[Rhum Arrangé|rhum arrangé]] is a must -try, you will not likely find it elsewhere!

The In 2010, the French owner and chef Philippe realised his dream of starting his own restaurant in Madagascar after having served in the French Army for 20 years. Philipe is an outgoing host who likes to socialise with his guests as well as pracitse practise his Englishwhen the opportunity occurs.

La Capannina is open from 11.30am to 2.30pm and from 6.30pm to 10.30pm, including Sunday. The restaurant is closed on WednesdayWednesdays.
